One idea: Wayne Chappell and I live across the street from each other and have casually discussed the idea of using our stake center (in Draper, Utah) for a reunion. It is between Salt Lake City and Provo, and very convenient to a Trax station that takes you directly from Sandy (about 5 minutes away) to Temple Square in about 40 minutes. Relatively inexpensive hotels are located nearby in Sandy and Draper. The stake center also has two softball fields, covered ramadas with picnic tables, and two small parks with slides and swings nearby. I'm not aware of any mission reunions being held here before, so it's unlikely that we would have any trouble reserving any outside facilities. (Of course, since it is a stake center, the cultural hall would probably be full of chairs for conference sessions, so we might be in trouble if the weather is bad--but perhaps we could reserve another nearby chapel as a backup.)
