| We will have an all-mission reunion in Salt
Lake City to talk about the Guayaquil Temple dediction. It will be from
8:00 P.M. to 10:00 P.M. on April 1, 2000 at WillowCreek Inn, 8072 South
Highland Drive, Salt Lake City, UT 84121. WillowCreek Inn belongs to
former Guayaquil, Ecuador Elder, Brian Ellis (Under Pres. Berge,
1982-1984). We'll have a P.C. with a projector or large screen for viewing VHS videos and electronic files. Photos should be put in an MS PowerPoint Presentation and brought on floppy, ZIP disk or CD ROM. For those who are also looking for accomodations in Salt Lake City, WillowCreek Inn has several Bed and Breakfast rooms available. Since the pool won't be open, and there are some portions of WillowCreek Inn being renovated, plus we are excited to do this, we are offering a deep discount on rooms. We have decided to classify our rooms as "Traditional" (shared bathroom) and "Deluxe" (private bathroom). Our higher-end rooms will be thrown in the "Deluxe" category and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis with preference for 2-night reservations (Friday and Saturday.) | There is a reunion planned for the Guay North Mission under Pres. Renato
Maldonado on March 31. Pres. Maldonado is coming up from Ecuador specifically for the
reunion.
Date: Friday, March 31, 2000 More details from Krista Ellis: The reunion will be held on Friday, March 31st. Dinner will be served at 7:00 pm. The price for this dinner is going to be $9.00 a person, or $17.00 if bringing a "significantly significant other." Without dinner, $1.00 per "missionary" can be paid at the door. The reunion will be held at the "Deer Creek Island Resort" a.k.a. "Dock of the Bay Restaurant". It is located 5 miles south of Heber City on Highway 189, or straight up Provo Canyon about 20 miles (from Provo). It is a cedar building right on the water's edge (it is the only building for miles). To RSVP for the dinner, the money must
be in to me (Krista) by March 7th. | The Ecuador Guayaquil South Mission will have a reunion on the 31st of March for those who served under President Fernandez and President Gabbitas. It will be a good time to get together and catch up on old times. The reunion will be held at 1173 N 850 W, Orem, UT 84057 and will start between 5:30 and 6:00 o'clock. Bring some treats to share.
